About Our Long Sleeve Jerseys
WINDPROOF JERSEY
- A super versatile jersey and in our opinion one of our best technical items
- Can be worn next to the skin but ideally you would need a summer base layer or a short sleeve jersey underneath it, just for comfort
- A great training top
- Lightweight wind and water resistant front
- Fleece back
- Very breathable
- Not waterproof
- Silicone hem
- 3 pockets plus a zip pocket
- Reflective detail
- Lycra cuff
- Suitable for all levels
- Excellent training top for intermediates and advanced riders
WHEN TO WEAR WINDPROOF JERSEY*
- Spring/Summer/Autumn/Early Winter
- Particularly good on windy days and will keep off a bit of drizzle
- On Spring and cooler Summer days, wear with a thin summer base or short sleeve jersey (11+ degrees)
- On colder days layer with a thermal base or long sleeve jersey (below 10 degrees)
- Also makes a great layer under a jacket
- This is a great training top as it is a tad cooler than the heavy weight fleece jersey but once you get going it's plenty warm enough and has exceptional breathability
HEAVYWEIGHT JERSEY
- Warm and thermal
- Thick fleece fabric
- Very breathable
- Not wind or waterproof
- Silicone hem
- 3 pockets plus a zip pocket
- Reflective detail
- Lycra cuff
- Suitable for all levels
WHEN TO WEAR HEAVYWEIGHT JERSEY*
- Cold Spring and Autumn/Winter
- 5-11 degrees depending on layering
- This is a cool weather jersey
- Wear on its own on cool days and start to layer as the wear turns colder eg. with a thermal base (below 9 degrees)
- Warmer than our windproof jersey but doesn’t offer wind or water protection
- Superb thermal layer for under a jacket in cold wet weather
- In windy, wet weather you will need a gilet or jacket over the top
MIDWEIGHT JERSEY
- A versatile jersey which can be layered up and down for lots of weather conditions
- Thermal fleece fabric
- Very breathable
- Not wind or waterproof
- Silicone hem
- 3 pockets plus a zip pocket
- Reflective detail
- Elasticated cuff
- Suitable for all levels
WHEN TO WEAR MIDWEIGHT JERSEY*
- Spring/Summer/Autumn, Winter as a layer
- 5-15 degrees
- A good option for Spring and on cooler Summer days.
- Wear on it's own or over a thin summer base or short sleeve jersey
- On colder days layer with a thermal base (below 10 degrees)
- On breezy days you would benefit from a gilet or jacket
- Makes a good middle layer between a base and jacket on really cold days
- Not as warm as the Heavyweight Jersey but does offer more flexibility with layering
Fitting Jerseys
- Fitting jerseys is fairly straight forward if you start with your actual chest and belly measurements at their largest point, taken with your arms relaxed by your sides
- Arms relaxed by your sides is key to getting an accurate chest measurement
- Don't rely on you hight street jacket/shirt size
- Pick the jersey size which corresponds to the largest of the two measurements - if your belly is larger than your chest, pick the jersey size that corresponds to your belly size.
- If you are between sizes, the smaller size will be a bit snug and the larger size will be loose. If you need help deciding just email us
- Our jerseys have 'ease' built in so you don't need to size up to get a comfy fit
- If you like a stretch fit, go down a size (or 2)
- Road cycling jerseys are shorter at the front and longer at the back because your body changes shape when in cycling position
- A jersey might look too short when you're stood in front of the mirror in your jeans, but in your cycling kit, on a bike it's probably the perfect length
- Make sure to adopt cycling position (arms out stretched, legs bent) to feel how the jersey fits across the shoulders and back
- There is no wrong or right way for a jersey to fit, it's up to you and what you feel most comfortable in. However in order to get the maximum benefit from the wicking and breathable fabrics we use, they need to be in contact with your skin
- Our designs and template are all geared towards making cycle wear that looks and fits great. Baggy isn't always best and sometimes a snugger fit can look and perform much better than a larger option
- Just email us with your measurements and height if you need help

What If I'm tall
- Our jerseys are longer than most brands and we work on a 6’+ (183cm+) frame
- Our tallest customers are over 6'7" (200cm)
- Because the fabrics we use stretch in all directions, torso and shoulder size will also affect the fit of your jersey and the final length
- If you are between sizes go up a size as this will result in a longer jersey fit
- If you need help just drop us an email with your height, chest and belly measurement
What If I'm short
- Because of the way the fabrics stretch, the extra 'length' in our jerseys means that they can accommodate big tummy's and still finish at a good length on our shorter customers
- If you are between sizes it's usually best to go down a size as this will result in a shorter jersey but drop us an email with your height, chest and belly measurement for help
