      About Our Pads

      • We use two different pads, both are female specific and high density
      • The pads are perfect for all riders
      • The padding in the non-bib cycling shorts, leggings and tights is the same (type 1)
      • The padding in the bib cycling shorts and tights and in our MTB under shorts is type 2 and is slightly different to type 1 but has the same features and should feel the same

        Fitting Leggings, Shorts and Bibs

        • Fitting cycling leggings, shorts and bibs can be tricky because your leg, bottom, height and torso will ALL affect the final fit
        • It may take trying on 2 or 3 sizes to get the right size
        • If you need help with our size guide email us with your measurements
        • If you are between sizes, our non-bibs and bibs may not fit you the same
        • If your waist is larger or similar to your hips, you need to fit your hips for the padding to be in the right place
          • This means that you need to go down at least 1 size smaller than your waist measurement
          • For non-bibs going down 1 size from your waist measurement is rarely an issue, however going down 2 sizes can sometimes be too tight on the waist
          • In this case you may find the fit of our smaller bibs better
          • Sometimes the stitching on the bib area can crack because the fabric is having to stretch to accommodate a larger waist. This won't affect the fit of the pad and can easily be mended by your local repair shop
        • If your hips are proportionately larger than your waist, you will need to go up a size to fit the pad correctly, otherwise the fabric may become see through
        • All our road cycling leggings, shorts and bibs should fit snug to the body without excess fabric around the crotch, thighs or bottom
        • Your body 'changes' shape when you are cycling so adopt a cycling position (arms out stretched, legs bent) to feel how they fit on the whole of your body, particularly for bibs across the shoulders and back
        • Our Gear is generally tall but this doesn’t mean we can’t fit shorter people. We have customers who are 5’3” and 6’2”
        • Just email us with all your measurements and height for help

        Troubleshooting Fit

How your gear fits when you're standing in front of the mirror is not how it will fit on a bike so you must adopt a cycling position when you try on

        • Excess fabric on the crotch, thighs or bottom - go down at least one size
        • Legs are flappy - go down at least one size
        • Pad is not snug to the body - go down at least one size
        • Bibs fit on the torso but are baggy elsewhere - go down at least one size. This may mean that the waist fabric has to stretch a lot (see above) but you need to get the pad in the right place for them to work
        • Bottom area is see through in cycling position - they are too small, go up a size
        • Bib is too tight across the shoulders or torso – go up a size
        • If you are unsure about the fit send us some photos of you wearing the bibs and we can help – don’t worry your photos are safe with us!

        What If I'm tall

Our tights are longer than most brands and we work on a 5’10" (178cm) frame

Because the fabrics we use stretch in all directions, leg width and bottom size will affect the leg length as much as height and waist size

        • If you are over 6’(183cm) and have very long or very chunky legs you may need to go up a size
        • If you need help just drop us an email with your height, bust, waist, hips and inside leg length

        What If I'm short

Our tights are longer than most brands and we work on a 5’10"+ (178cm+) frame however we can usually still fit our shorter customers

Because the fabrics we use stretch in all directions, leg width and bottom size will affect the leg length as much as height and waist size

        • If you are under 5’3” (160cm) and have short or very slim legs you will probably need to go down at least a size
        • Our Winter tights may still be too long however we urge you to try our gear if you are struggling to find cycling trousers as the key thing is getting good padding and fit around the waist and hips and although not ideal, you can always get our tights taken up!

        Inside Leg Measurements

READ THIS, then email us with your height, waist and chest measurement and your overall build

Items which use stretch fabrics don’t have an inside leg measurement because your torso, leg and bottom size will also affect the finished leg length

So, if your legs and bum are chunky, this 'shortens' the garment leg length, similarly if you have a skinny bum and legs, this 'lengthens' the leg length

Two people of the same size and height, one with skinny legs and one with chunky legs will get different inseam measurements from the same item

This is why the inseam measurement CAN NOT be relied upon as an indicator for the final length, nevertheless here it is, because lots of you ask for it!

*Approx measurement from centre pad to hem

        • From centre pad to hem our women's shorts measure 17- 20cm depending on size
        • From centre pad to hem our women's pedal pushers measure 43cm
        • From centre pad to hem our women's tights measure 76cm
